The Opportunity
We’re hiring! An exciting opportunity to join the IRIS team in North America as VP, Data Driven Performance Marketing. DDP is a core part of offering with pure-play data driven clients (where we are supporting CRM, loyalty and Search engagements) and integrated clients where we work as part of our integrated proposition to also support audience intelligence and marketing effectiveness.
The role requires focus on maximizing growth within key existing clients and supporting pre-sales and pitch opportunities with new clients.
You will need to be strategically minded, commercial and deeply understand the world of data driven marketing to best create and deliver services that elevate the client’s customer experience, marketing outcomes and their ability to monetize every element of their data assets.

Responsibilities
The role reports directly to the Iris Group Managing Director in the region and will be a key member of a board group and global DDP leadership team, working closely with the specialists, processes and commercial objectives to deliver aggressive DDP growth. The emphasis is account and commercial leadership role; core responsibilities will include:
- Account leadership and management.
- Responsible for overall account performance, profitability and growth.
- Build and maintain positive and enduring client relationships across all levels.
- Identify expert resource needed to deliver and manage data driven marketing performance services and growth, ensuring capacity and a high performance mindset.
- Become the client business partner and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the client business and opportunities.
- See the whole picture of data driven opportunity, project scope and care about successful delivery (on time, on budget, on scope).
- A passion for delivering work that’s effective, connected and great.
- Excellent understanding of data strategy, analytics, data science and data platform business with associated commercial and consulting expertise.
- Excellent technical knowledge and interest in future technology.
- Ability to recognize and nurture best in class data services and products.
- Ability to work cross channel.
- Ability to travel and nurture clients at different locations and split time between Boston, Atlanta, NYC and Dallas.
What we're looking for
The successful candidate will be experienced, exceptionally motivated and dependable. Due to the exciting variation in the role, the individual will be confident and skilled at dealing with multiple initiatives, thriving on multi-tasking and taking ownership of growing DDP income in the US from $6MM revenue in 2025.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
- 7+ years leading business development and growing enterprise clients.
- Proven record of growing accounts.
- Experience of working in cross-agency teams within a marketing services group (desirable).
- Experience leading cross functional teams (data, tech etc).
- Proficiency of understanding clients perceived needs and keen ability to qualify these needs to create an actionable roadmap and growth plan. You will see open briefs as an opportunity rather than a constraint.
- Consultative selling experience.
- Skilled at creating executive presentations with credible story telling capabilities.
- Understanding the world of data, the value of data insights and customer experience.
- Ability to analyze and assess business performance, customer journeys and experiences to identify areas of improvement and opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, energy and skills.
- Willingness not to be afraid to fail, learn and try again.
